Do we own the source code when the project ends?
Yes. The source code, database schema and technical documentation are yours, handed over with instructions for deploying it from scratch. We keep nothing back as leverage to keep you as a client.
Can we update the website content ourselves?
Yes. Every site we deliver comes with a content management system: publish articles, swap images, edit contact details, manage categories and maintain both languages. We train your team directly and leave written documentation.
Will a new website hurt our current search rankings?
Not if the migration is done properly. We map every old URL to its new address and configure 301 redirects, so rankings and inbound links carry over. In practice rankings usually improve, because the new site is faster and each page finally has its own metadata.
What technologies does GISC use?
Mostly .NET and Node.js on the server, with SQL Server and PostgreSQL for data. React and Next.js on the front end. Infrastructure runs on Linux, packaged with Docker. We pick technology for the problem and for long-term maintainability, not for novelty.
How is a software project priced?
Against an agreed scope, not an open-ended hourly rate. We survey the process first, break the work into separately acceptable milestones, and price each one. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately and needs your approval before we start it.
What happens after handover?
Every contract names a warranty period with committed response and resolution times by severity. After it ends you can sign an annual operations contract or run it yourselves — we hand over enough for that to be a real option.
We are with another provider — is moving complicated?
No, and we do not charge for the migration itself. We copy the site and its data to the new infrastructure, run both in parallel to compare, and only then point the domain across at a time you choose. Downtime is usually measured in minutes.
Where is our data stored?
On infrastructure located in Vietnam by default. If your system has its own data residency requirements, we deploy to meet them and state it explicitly in the contract.
